We, at Mail and More in California, offer DOJ & FBI certified Live Scan Fingerprinting and FBI Ink Fingerprint Card service. Mail and More in California is officially certified by the California Department of Justice and authorized by the FBI to roll fingerprints for background screening for licensure, certification, employment & immigration purposes.

Live Scan Fingerprints are required in applications by Real Estate Licensees, Notaries, Vehicle salespersons, vehicle dealers, driving instructors, or any other vehicle industry related occupation licensed by DMV, Foster Parents, Stock Brokers, Teachers, Appraisers, Security Guards, Elder Care Givers, as well as anyone having contact with children or the elderly, etc.

Live Scan is a form of inkless electronic fingerprinting. The fingerprints are then electronically transmitted to the Department of Justice and/or FBI for a criminal-history record check.

The rolling fee for Live Scan Fingerprinting is $19. (A separate government processing fee might be applicable.) The ink card rolling fee is $15 for the first card and $10 for any additional cards (for the same individual). We also provide blank FBI " FD-258 cards" at a fee.

In order for us to process your Live Scan fingerprinting, you need to fill out a Live Scan Request Form, which you should bring with you. We can assist you in searching for the form online. You are also required to show a valid identification card (state ID, driver's license, or passport). Please remember to bring this with you.

We welcome walk-ins during regular business hours. No appointment is necessary.
